eBay Details

Use this tab to enter eBay specific details. The tab looks like the following:

It has the following sections:

Primary Category

Field	Explanation
Select Category	Displays the list of categories within the category already selected. If no category is selected as yet, shows all top level categories. Keep selecting the category until this field is disabled and won't let you select any further.
Or Enter Category ID	If you know the numeric Category ID, you can enter it directly in this field instead of making selections in the previous field. You must tab out (click anywhere outside of this field, or simply press the TAB key) in order for the ID you entered to take effect.

To get the list of suggested categories, click on the link Get Suggested Categories. A new dialog will be displayed as shown:

Enter the keyword(s) and click on the button "Search". You will see a list of suggested categories you can choose from. Click on the row corresponding to the category you wish to use and click on the button "Select". The dialog will close and the category you selected will now be used.

Notes:

As you continue to select your categories or entered the numeric Category ID or selected a category from the list of suggested categories, the list of all category names starting from the top level category are displayed as breadcrumbs. To go back to any previously selected category, simply click on the desired breadcrumb link.

Store Categories

If the eBay account used in this listing has an associated eBay store, then, you can select up to 2 store categories from this section. Store Categories must be created directly on eBay.

Select Format, Price & Quantity

When Fixed Price format selected:

Field	Explanation
Price	Fixed Price at which you wish to see this item
VAT%	VAT to charge, applies to mostly european countries. Countries where Sales Tax applies, you must create Sales Tax tables directly on eBay's site and in the editor indicate that you wish to use those Sales Tax tables for applying Sales tax.
Quantity	Quantity being sold in this listing. Required for non-variations listing. If you have enabled your preference on eBay to Use Out-Of-Stock preference, then, you can also enter zero here for out-of-stock listings.
Avg unit Cost	Your purchase cost per unit
Duration	Select the number of days this listing will remain Active on eBay site. You can also select special value GTC, which means Good Till Cancelled. GTC listings are by default auto-renewed by eBay every 30 days. Check eBay's documentation on applicable fee upon first submission and subsequent auto-renewals.

When Auction format is selected:

Field	Explanation
Start Price	Price at which the auction starts
Buy It Now Price	Also called BIN price. The first buyer will have the option to buy on this price. But if the first buyer starts the bidding process, then, eBay will no longer allow subsequent buyers to buy by paying this price. Auction will continue until the duration expires.
Reserve Price	If the final auction closing price does not meet this price, you have the option not to sell to topmost bidder.
VAT%	VAT to charge, applies to mostly european countries. Countries where Sales Tax applies, you must create Sales Tax tables directly on eBay's site and in the editor indicate that you wish to use those Sales Tax tables for applying Sales tax.
Avg unit Cost	Your purchase cost per unit
Duration	Select the number of days this listing will remain Active on eBay site. Auction listing do NOT have special value GTC, which means Good Till Cancelled.

Select Options

Check box	Explanation
Use Tax table	When checked, tells eBay to apply sales tax as per Sales Tax tables you create directly on eBay's site.
eBay Plus	If your eBay a/c used in this listing is eligible for eBay Plus, then, you can indicate if you wish to use that feature
Is Adult Listing	Is set automatically by eBay based on specified category. This cannot be edited.
International SIte Visibility
North America	If your account is qualified, then, when checked, eBay will expose this listing on its north america site also
UK	If your account is qualified, then, when checked, eBay will expose this listing on its UK site also
Australia	If your account is qualified, then, when checked, eBay will expose this listing on its Australia site also

Enter notes about this listing. These notes are not sent to eBay and thus not visible to your potential buyers. These notes are for your own reference.

Storage Location

Specify from where this item will be shipped from. If you use Calculated Shipping (See Shipping section for details), then, your potential buyers on eBay will be shown Postage Calulator using which they will be able to calculate the shipping from this location to their address. If you do use Calculated Shipping, in addition to this location, most postal services would also require you to specify Weight & Dimensions of your package.

Gallery Type:

Select from available choices to decide how eBay should display your listing in the Gallery.

Theme:

Select from the set of available themes provided by eBay. eBay theme together with Design are meant to apply specific borders, colors, fonts etc when rendering your description on eBay's site.

Design:

Each theme has a number of designs associated with it. Selecting a Theme populates this selection box.

Visitor Counter:

Specifies if eBay will display a visitor counter for this listing when a visitor sees your listing on eBay's site. This lets you select the type of counter eBay will display.

Payment:

Select a Payment Profile which specifies your payment methods, terms and conditions and other associated details. Click on the associated link "Manage" to Manage Payment Profiles.

Shipping:

Field	Explanation
Shipping using currency	Displays the currency for shipping costs. Some sites use multiple currencies, if so, the currency you selected earlier. Select a Shipping Profile which specifies how you will ship this item, shipping costs and other associated details. Click on the associated link "Manage" to Manage Shipping Profiles.
Package Type	Select from the list provided by eBay. This may be used by shipping carriers to determine shipping costs.
Is Irregular package?	Whether the package you will ship is an irregular sized/shaped? Shipping carriers may charge differently based on this info.
Offer Click & Collect?	Whether you wish to offer the specified feature to your potential buyers. Only applies to certain eBay sites only. If the site you are listing on does not offer this feature, this option will be ignored.
Offer In-Store Pickup?	Whether you wish to offer the specified feature to your potential buyers. Only applies to certain eBay sites only. If the site you are listing on does not offer this feature, this option will be ignored.

Return:

Select a Return Profile which specfies how you will accept returns and other associated details. Click on the associated link "Manage" to Manage Return Profiles.
